Virtual Compassionate Psychotherapy · Massachusetts

Integrating therapies and science to help you uncover the strength of your compassionate self

You don't have to carry this alone.

You deserve to feel heard, acknowledged, and understood.

Lenore Mewton, LICSW — a psychotherapist working primarily with women who are thoughtful, capable, hard-working and often overextended, navigate self-criticism and challenging life events, and build resilient lives led by compassion rather than judgment.

Seeking therapy isn't a sign that you can't manage. It's a sign that you're acknowledging something that deserves to be taken seriously.

Your Healing Journey Starts Here

A blend of therapies, rooted in compassion

I have over 25 years of clinical experience helping thoughtful, capable, hard-working, often overextended people who quietly struggle with anxiety, depression, self-criticism, shame, or a persistent sense of not being good enough.

Therapy is hard work. It means facing difficult emotions, staying with yourself, and becoming more comfortable with discomfort while building self-knowledge, awareness, and inner strength to live a fuller, more resilient, and compassionate life.

I use a blend of therapies, with Compassion-Focused Therapy at the heart of my approach, along with Psychodynamic, CBT, Mindfulness, and Family Systems Therapies. I help you develop the courage, wisdom, and resources to face difficult emotions rather than be controlled by them—in a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship, customized just for you.
